Guitar Art Celebrates Tarheel's 1957 Season
This license plate guitar art was handcrafted for a diehard Tarheels and Panthers fan. My Charlotte-based client sent me a few of his tags that he'd been saving for years, as well as emblems to work with. His name is Rich O, which I featured on the face.
I asked him why he wanted UNC and 1957 on the keys pegs at top. He told me the TarHeels had a perfect season. He was at one of the games that ended in triple overtime. Wilt Chamberlain was a player on the opposing team. His memories really intrigued me. I found more information about the season here. I love learning a little history as I craft these one-of-a-kind guitar wall art.
Rich also requested that I use Panther and Tar Heel colors throughout his piece. I think they make this guitar art extra special. Check out how the Panther blue on one side and the Carolina blue on the other really set off the names of the teams. This piece of guitar decor would look great on any fans' wall, but only one lucky fan gets to show it off on his.
