When i started making license plate guitar art 10 years ago, Jimi Hendrix was one of the first artists that people requested. He is also the artist that inspired this collection as my use of Washington tags to create his piece made me realize I could represent an artist from each state.

I used 23 license plate to create this purple Stratocaster style license plate guitar, which pays tribute one of rock n roll’s greatest stories. The Michigan tag is the H in Hendrix.
