I used 33 license plates to create John Denver’s piece, and boy were these fun tags to work with. They are as unique and colorful as he was. Denver is well known for his Rocky Mountain High hit, but I was surprised to learn he’s actually from New Mexico. You can’t think of John Denver and not start singing the song, Take Me Home, Country Roads. It’s featured on the front of this license plate artwork.
