i learned so much about musicians and music history while creating this exhibit. I also learned that some states have a lot of artists, while some have very few.

I stumbled on the Cowsills while researching Rhode Island. I hadn’t heard of them, but when I looked up their hit songs, I was surprised I knew several of them. The one we all remember is Hair which was turned into a musical and a movie. I featured it on the front.

I used 19 tags to create this license plate guitar. I discovered that the Rhode Island tag is one of the hardest to get your hands on and is very expensive. The Michigan tag is the black underlay on the pick ups under the word Rhode and Island.
