Kiss is one of those legendary rock n roll bands that I wanted to include in my exhibit. I accomplished that goal by using 27 license plates to create a license plate guitar for one of their guitarists, Tommy Thayer who is from Oregon.

The stars on the pick ups represent his Kiss eye makeup. I used the Les Paul style because that is the guitar he plays.

There are several Michigan tags in this piece. They are the N in rock n roll, and the M and H in Thayer.
