The night before they cancelled and said sorry we have another artist and he said he would only do it if he was the only artist in the room. I like really who’s this guy… She says Leroy Neiman. Well that was that. So I got a hold of Tiki and told him about the painting and he said send it. 2023 my son sends my a text with the Tiki painting on his set of the Tiki and Tierney show, they use it when he’s out on business. Client request they wanted a view of a 63 split window Corvette looking from the top down. The Sik Splt reference was from a license plate that was on the car. When I was asked to create this 63 split window Corvette for the Corvette Museum in Kentucky, I was truly honored. After doing my research, I decided to go with the rear image of the Corvette. I also wanted to take advantage of the highly reflective quality that the license plates have.
